Penlan cottages are accessed over a long driveway, past the main house and a stunning coastal view.  Generally there is plenty of parking.  As the whole site is not completed yet the following accessibility statement relates to Swallows Nest Cottage only.

Swallows Nest is approached through the courtyard and has parking next to it.  The courtyard itself is slightly sloping with a chipping surface.  There are four steps about 15 inches wide, varying in height from 4 and a half inches to 5 and a half inches.  These lead onto a flagstone patio area which then leads into the cottage.  The door is 31 inches wide and leads directly into the living room, which contains 2 two seater sofas and has a remote control sound system, television and dvd.  The flooring is laminate with a large rug at the centre.  From the side of the room is an open tread staircase ( one step and a landing and then eight steps to top.  These are 7 and a half inches high.  At the top is a small landing under the eaves with one step going either left into dressing area or right into bedroom area with a king size bed. 

A bathroom opens off of the living room with door and short passage 26 inches wide.   The bath is 23 inches high and the toilet is 15 inches high.  There is a walk in shower with a flexible shower which can be moved into different positions.  The shower door is 23 and a half inches wide. 

A kitchen also opens off the living room with a door 29 inches wide.  The worktop height is 36 and a half inches high with drop down oven doors.  There is a washing maching and dishwasher and tall fridge freezer with a microwave on top. The dining area is to the side of the kitchen with a set of large french doors 65 inches wide with a step over cill of three inches. 

Some of the power points are at floor level and some are at waist level with light switches at a sensible height.

There is good mobile phone reception.

The owners live on site and are available to assist whenever possible.

The nearest village is about a mile and the nearest market town is about seven miles.
